Salary: $193,000 — $280,000 USD

What you will do

• Support sales teams in demonstrating the business value and technical capabilities of Okta's Identity Platform.
• Execute complex Proof of Concepts (POCs), collaborating with internal engineering teams where necessary.
• Craft technical content and documentation to guide customers on implementing specific use cases.
• Prepare and deliver product demonstrations to a diverse audience, from developers to C-level executives.
• Distill customer needs and product feedback to inform Product Management, Engineering, and Marketing.

Requirements

• 5+ years of pre-sales engineering experience.
• Hands-on experience in web development (JavaScript, HTML), backend (Java, C#, Node, Python, PHP, Ruby), or mobile development.
• Proficiency with network security protocols such as OAuth, SAML, or LDAP.
• Strong understanding of core security concerns including SSL/TLS, encryption, XSS, and XSRF.
• Must be based in the United States.
• Ability to travel 10-25% of the time.
