What you will do

  • Oversee monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting processes for hirify.global EU.
  • Ensure compliance with IFRS and lead the implementation of new accounting standards and disclosure requirements.
  • Maintain internal controls over financial reporting (ICFR) and balance sheet substantiation.
  • Collaborate with engineers and data teams to automate the production elements of financial reporting.
  • Manage and mentor junior team members involved in the reporting process.
  • Coordinate with external auditors and support the CFO with leadership team board compliance.

Requirements

  • Qualified chartered accountant (ACA or CA) with a minimum of 3 to 4 years post-qualification experience.
  • Strong audit background, ideally within a public interest entity or retail bank.
  • Expert technical accounting knowledge (IFRS) and experience with statutory audits.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Must be based in London to work on a hybrid pattern.

Nice to have

  • Experience in financial reporting and control outside of professional practice.
  • Proficiency in SQL to automate reporting and drive efficiency.
  • Deep fascination with and understanding of the banking and regulatory landscape.
