TL;DR

Sales Executive (Life Sciences): Driving business development and new-logo sales of enterprise software and process automation technologies into the pharmaceutical, biopharmaceutical, and medical device industries with an accent on full-cycle sales management. Focus on identifying customer needs, positioning value to both technical and executive stakeholders, and closing deals within the German market.

What you will do

  • Meet and exceed assigned quotas for new software licenses and professional services revenue.
  • Own the full sales process from lead identification to deal closure.
  • Generate and qualify leads through outbound prospecting and inbound follow-up.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for prospects, addressing both technical and commercial inquiries.
  • Maintain accurate customer and pipeline data within Salesforce.
  • Collaborate with marketing and sales engineering teams to execute targeted outreach and industry events.

Requirements

  • Native German language skills required
  • Experience selling informatics, analytics, or process automation software into life sciences.
  • Strong leadership, relationship-building, and negotiation capabilities.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with both scientific staff and executive leadership.
  • Bachelor's degree in Science, IT, or Business.
  • Must be authorized to work in Germany

Nice to have

  • Working knowledge of cGMP manufacturing processes (Cell and Gene Therapy, Biologics, CDMO).
  • Prior experience selling MES, EBR, or LIMS solutions.
  • Familiarity with Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP).
