Team Lead Backend Engineer (Cybersecurity)

TL;DR

Team Lead Backend Engineer (Go): Building and optimizing the Orca Sensor, a lightweight runtime component for cloud workloads, with an accent on real-time telemetry processing and threat detection. Focus on designing scalable, low-overhead systems and integrating DevOps practices into the product lifecycle.

Location: Hybrid in Warsaw (2 days a week) or Remote from anywhere in Poland

What you will do

• Technically oversee end-to-end implementation of backend and system components for Windows and Linux.
• Manage a team of up to 6 engineers, overseeing performance and wellbeing.
• Develop and implement new features primarily using the Go language.
• Own the DevOps aspects of the product, including Helm charts, CI/CD pipelines, and monitoring.
• Collaborate with upper management, technical support, and sales to represent the team's progress.
• Contribute to the architecture and design of scalable, cloud-native services.

Requirements

• 5+ years of professional backend development experience.
• Hands-on experience with at least one major cloud platform (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
• Experience in the DevOps domain using K8s, Terraform, Helm, GitHub Actions, and Grafana.
• Proven experience working with microservices architecture and cloud-native services.
• Must be based in Poland.

Nice to have

• 1+ year of experience in a team leadership role.
• Domain knowledge in cybersecurity.
• Experience with C or C++.
