Location: Hybrid (Lithuania or Poland)
Salary: €6,000–€7,200 per month (Lithuanian market) or 24,000–33,400 PLN per month (Polish market)

What you will do
- Design and evolve high-traffic, business-critical backend services primarily using Go.
- Lead architectural decisions regarding domain modeling, service boundaries, and deployment strategies.
- Collaborate with senior and lead engineers to drive the evolution of the service platform.
- Identify performance bottlenecks and scalability challenges to propose pragmatic, long-term solutions.
- Own complex technical initiatives end-to-end, from initial design to production rollout.
- Write clean, production-grade code while raising engineering standards across the team.
Requirements
- Strong experience building production-grade backend systems.
- Solid understanding of software design principles, distributed systems, and API design.
- Experience with databases, messaging systems, and service-oriented or event-driven architectures.
- Ability to reason about concurrency, performance, and reliability.
- Must be based in or have work authorization for the Lithuanian or Polish markets.
Nice to have
- Experience building or scaling systems serving millions of requests.
- Deep hands-on production experience with Go.
- Strong understanding of observability, reliability, and operational excellence.
