A1 is building a proactive AI smart assistant for everyday users to bring intelligence to conversations, errands, organising and workflows.

What you will do

• Drive China market entry, from strategy to execution.
• Build and execute initial hiring plans, including sourcing and engaging talent.
• Support fundraising efforts by preparing materials and coordinating investor conversations.
• Help establish A1’s presence in China, including office setup and operating structure.
• Drive external positioning by supporting PR, partnerships, and key relationships.
• Act as a central operator across teams, tracking priorities and resolving bottlenecks.

Requirements

• Background in consulting (MBB), top-tier VC, startups, or high-performance operating roles.
• Strong generalist with the ability to switch between strategy, hiring, operations, and execution.
• High agency and the ability to operate independently.
• Strong judgment and the ability to prioritize and make decisions with incomplete information.
• Clear and concise communication skills.
• High reliability and consistent follow-through.
• Comfortable working in a fast-moving, high-ambiguity environment.
