Salary: $78,000 - $107,250 with 15% incentive

What you will do
- Confirm coverage by reviewing policies and supporting documentation to communicate coverage positions.
- Conduct and direct detailed investigations into loss facts and the extent of damages.
- Negotiate and settle moderate to high complexity claims, typically those in litigation.
- Direct and monitor assignments to outside counsel and experts to control expenses.
- Set reserves and present case updates to senior claims leaders and underwriters.
- Serve as a technical resource for the team, assisting with training and policy wording.
Requirements
- Must have US Work Authorization (no sponsorship provided).
- Minimum 5 years of claims handling experience, including 3 years as a Claims Examiner.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional work experience.
- Must hold or be eligible to receive a claims adjuster license.
- Strong knowledge of tort and contract law.
- Proven expertise in litigation management, negotiation, and mediation.
Nice to have
- JD, advanced degree, or a focused technical degree.
- Industry designations such as INS, IEA, AIC, ARM, SCLA, or CPCU.
- Experience with CLM Claim College or Munich Re Training.
