Salary: $125,000–$155,000

What you will do

• Adjust and resolve complex mid to high-severity Miscellaneous Professional Liability claims.
• Manage all phases of the litigation process and lead defense strategies for litigated files.
• Draft complex coverage letters, including reservation of rights and denial letters.
• Analyze claim documentation and legal filings to determine positive claim outcomes.
• Mentor team members and identify emerging exposures or fraudulent trends.
• Collaborate with external experts, legal counsel, and internal underwriting partners.

Requirements

• 6+ years of Professional Liability and/or Specialty/Financial lines claims handling experience.
• B.A./B.S. degree required; JD from an ABA-accredited law school is optimal.
• Must be based in or near Atlanta, Connecticut, Boston, New York, or Chicago.
• Adjuster licensing is required within 90 days of employment.
• Proven ability to lead litigation and negotiate complex claim outcomes.
• Advanced knowledge of coverage and litigation processes.
