TL;DR

Regional VP of Sales, Government (Healthcare): Establishing and growing Maven's presence in the state and local government market with an accent on new business development and procurement navigation. Focus on driving end-to-end sales cycles, managing complex RFP/RFI processes, and building strategic relationships with public sector benefits administrators.

Location: Must be based in the US (Remote or Hybrid in the New York Metropolitan area)

Salary: $375,000–$450,000 OTE per year

What you will do

  • Own end-to-end business development for the government segment, including territory planning and pipeline generation.
  • Navigate complex government procurement cycles, including RFP/RFI processes and contracting vehicles.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with benefits administrators, procurement officers, and union trustees.
  • Represent Maven at government-focused industry conferences, trade shows, and benefits events.
  • Partner with Client Success, Marketing, and GTM Operations to optimize market feedback and handoffs.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of experience in government or public sector healthcare benefits sales.
  • Proven track record of closing large, complex deals and consistently exceeding quotas.
  • Active work authorization in the US is required.
  • Deep familiarity with government procurement processes and multi-stakeholder buying dynamics.
  • Proficiency with Salesforce for pipeline management and forecasting.
  • Ability to travel approximately 50%.
