Programme Manager (Aerospace)

What you will do

• Lead end-to-end delivery of complex aerospace programmes from bid through to certification.
• Serve as the primary customer interface, owning scope, schedule, cost, quality, and risk.
• Translate customer requirements into detailed delivery and engineering execution plans.
• Manage programme budgets, commercial performance, and governance reporting.
• Identify and mitigate risks and lead technical/commercial trade-offs with engineering teams.
• Mentor programme team members and provide reporting to senior leadership and external stakeholders.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in aerospace engineering or programme management.
• Proven track record of delivering complex aerospace or high-integrity engineering programmes.
• Strong understanding of aerospace development, validation, and airworthiness processes.
• Degree in Engineering or a related discipline.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain Baseline Personnel Security Standard (BPSS) clearance.
• Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

Nice to have

• Experience with electrohydraulic or mechanical aerospace systems.
• Knowledge of APQP or structured development methodologies.
• Proficiency with MS Project and other programme management tools.
• Technical signatory or approval experience.
• Knowledge of EASA Part 21 airworthiness requirements.
