Programme Manager (EV Infrastructure)

What you will do

• Own the grid, utilities, and consents works programme, setting and delivering against ambitious milestone dates.
• Manage landlord relationships and collaborate with legal teams to deliver substation leases and cable easements.
• Lead commercial negotiations with IDNOs and third-party landowners to secure grid connections.
• Oversee the delivery of highway consents and manage relationships with highway authorities.
• Mentor junior project managers and manage external consultants to ensure quality and commercial requirements are met.
• Embed a culture of continuous improvement by applying lessons learned across the UK pipeline.

Requirements

• Minimum of 6 years of experience in project management and construction (ideally 8+).
• Proven experience working with grid connections, utilities, consents, and legal contracts.
• Strong negotiation expertise to deliver favorable commercial agreements.
• Exceptional communication skills and the ability to influence senior stakeholders.
• Must be based in London.
• Analytical, solution-focused mindset with a drive for solving complex challenges.

Nice to have

• Qualification or practical experience in electrical design, specifically high-voltage.
