Procurement Specialist

What you will do

• Support sourcing initiatives across indirect procurement categories in alignment with site and global procurement strategies.
• Contribute to supplier consolidation, onboarding, transition planning, service-level agreements, and performance frameworks.
• Lead or support cross-functional savings programs and track cost optimization delivery.
• Manage supplier relationship activities, including business reviews, KPIs, scorecards, escalation handling, and root-cause analysis.
• Analyze procurement data and develop dashboards using Power BI, Tableau, or equivalent tools.
• Maintain supplier documentation and procurement controls while collaborating with Finance, Engineering, Operations, and other functions.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Engineering, or a related discipline, or equivalent experience.
• At least 3 years of experience in strategic sourcing or category management, preferably in indirect procurement.
• Strong negotiation, supplier relationship management, stakeholder management, and communication skills.
• Analytical ability to work with incomplete data and build credible business cases.
• Knowledge of procurement processes, category management, and total cost of ownership modelling.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office tools; experience with SAP or JD Edwards is beneficial.

Nice to have

• Experience with Power BI, Tableau, or similar data visualization tools.
• Experience in supplier performance improvement and structured procurement savings programs.
