TL;DR
Administrator - Assessment Team (Education): Supporting the end-to-end production of high-quality assessment materials with an accent on workflow coordination, document accuracy, and system management. Location: Must be based in the UK with a requirement to work from the Manchester or Guildford office at least 2 days per week.
Salary: £24,400 – £27,300 per annum (depending on location).

What you will do
- Coordinate the production of assessment materials across subject areas, ensuring smooth progress through the assessment cycle.
- Manage documentation and workflows using internal systems like GradeMaker and Microsoft Office.
- Track tasks and resolve queries in collaboration with Assessment Managers and subject experts.
- Conduct quality checks on draft materials, including mark schemes and metadata.
- Coordinate graphics and copyright requests while preparing materials for typesetting.
- Maintain accurate progress records to support effective team reporting.
Requirements
- Must be based in the UK and able to work from the Manchester or Guildford office at least 2 days per week.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to handle multiple conflicting deadlines.
- Strong attention to detail, particularly regarding grammar, formatting, and document accuracy.
- Confident communication skills for building effective working relationships across teams.
- Proactive mindset with the ability to use personal judgement to resolve issues.
- Good working knowledge of administrative procedures and office IT applications.
Nice to have
- Experience with GradeMaker or Airtable.
- Experience in supporting the delivery of new processes or technologies.
