• Process housing and council tax changes while strictly following internal procedures.
• Communicate directly with customers via telephone, email, and letter to ensure service contractual requirements are met.
• Maintain high levels of workload productivity and accuracy according to the Right Time and Right Benefit Indicators.
• Coach and mentor junior staff and share best practices with the wider team.
• Stay current with professional knowledge through publications, briefing notes, and external training sessions.

Requirements

• Must demonstrate a pre-existing right to work and travel within the UK.
• Proven problem-solving skills and a flexible approach to work under pressure.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Working knowledge of Housing Benefits and Council Tax.
• General IT competency and self-motivation.
