What you will do
- Lead pre-deal integration and separation planning, developing deal impact assessments and Day 1 close requirements.
- Design target operating models and integration/separation blueprints aligned with the transaction thesis.
- Establish governance frameworks and Day 1 readiness plans to ensure successful program mobilization.
- Quantify IT and operations synergy opportunities and evaluate standalone operating model impacts for carve-outs.
- Manage trusted relationships with senior stakeholders, including CFOs, COOs, and CTOs, and facilitate cross-functional workshops.
- Mentor team members, support business development efforts, and help shape the firm's AI and tech due diligence capabilities.
Requirements
- 7-10+ years of experience in integration and separation planning or post-merger transformation within financial services.
- Deep specialization in Asset Management, Wealth Management, Banking, Insurance, or the FinTech ecosystem.
- Proven track record of leading pre-deal and early post-close workstreams across IT and business functions.
- Strong analytical and communication skills to distill complex findings into actionable insights for senior leadership.
- Experience leading teams and managing high-level client relationships.
- Must be based in New York.
