TL;DR

Vice President of Business Development (TPA): Driving new business origination and client acquisition for Property & Casualty and Workers’ Compensation services with an accent on leveraging established industry relationships. Location: Must be based in California, the Midwest, or the Southeastern United States.

Salary: $150,000–$200,000 per year

What you will do

  • Proactively source, develop, and close net-new business across Property & Casualty and Workers’ Compensation sectors.
  • Target and engage brokers, self-insured employers, captives, and risk managers.
  • Serve as a senior representative, engaging C-suite executives and senior decision-makers.
  • Partner with operations and service-line leaders to design tailored, multi-service solutions.
  • Contribute to go-to-market strategy, account planning, and pricing models.
  • Represent the firm at industry conferences and client meetings as a trusted expert.

Requirements

  • Must be located in California, the Midwest, or the Southeastern U.S.
  • Proven success in business development or sales within the TPA insurance industry.
  • Existing professional network of brokerage firms, self-insured employers, or carriers.
  • Strong business acumen regarding self-insurance, risk financing, and claims administration.
  • Executive presence with the ability to communicate complex financial models to sophisticated buyers.
  • Willingness to travel for client meetings and industry events.
