What you will do

  • Manage a personal caseload of disease cases within the Military Disease department.
  • Lead and mentor a team to meet individual and collective technical development objectives.
  • Review legal documents, evidence, and records to prepare comprehensive reports.
  • Conduct investigations, obtain witness statements, and instruct experts for trials.
  • Ensure all claims are progressed in accordance with strategies to maximize profitability.
  • Maintain strict adherence to Court timetables and SRA Standards & Regulations.

Requirements

  • Technically proficient in dealing with NIHL disease cases.
  • Proven ability to lead and develop assistant fee earners.
  • Strong negotiation, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet specific targets.
  • High attention to detail and ability to use own initiative.
  • Good level of IT proficiency.

Nice to have

  • Experience with other short-tail disease cases.
