What you will do
- Manage an individual caseload of pre and post-litigation property damage files.
- Conduct court hearings up to and including Proofs.
- Draft pleadings and essential court documents.
- Negotiate settlements and liaise with clients, insurers, and witnesses.
- Instruct experts and work closely with Counsel on complex cases.
- Assist senior file handlers with their caseloads as required.
Requirements
- Experience in handling pre and post-litigation damages claims.
- Proven experience in insurer-funded property damage work.
- Experience conducting court hearings up to and including Proofs.
- Strong understanding of court processes and drafting legal documents.
- Ability to work effectively in a hybrid environment based in the UK.
