Solicitor/Associate

Location: Glasgow, United Kingdom; hybrid working with the Glasgow office as the primary location.

What you will do

• Manage pre-litigated and litigated defender abuse claims.
• Review and analyse documents, liability, quantum, and causation.
• Draft legal advice, court documents, correspondence, witness statements, and instructions to experts and counsel.
• Prepare for Sheriff Court appearances and instruct in the Court of Session.
• Liaise with clients, conduct site visits, and support Partners and team initiatives.
• Contribute to business development through articles, blogs, presentations, and events.

Requirements

• Experience handling sensitive and complex claims.
• Personal injury experience in the Sheriff Court and Court of Session.
• Strong analytical and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
• Ability to work from the Glasgow office as the primary location within a hybrid arrangement.
