TL;DR
Senior People Business Partner (HR Consulting): Developing and executing the people strategy for the Asset and Wealth Management unit in North America with an accent on strategic workforce planning, leadership development, and organizational design. Focus on optimizing the employee lifecycle, managing post-acquisition integration, and aligning HR initiatives with commercial business goals.
Location: Hybrid; must be able to attend the New York office approximately 2-3 days per week
Salary: $190,000 – $235,000

What you will do
- Partner with senior leadership to define and drive the people agenda and business vision.
- Develop workforce strategies, headcount growth plans, and critical role coverage aligned with commercial demand.
- Oversee annual BAU processes, including compensation planning, job evaluation, and goal setting.
- Lead strategic initiatives for performance, reward, and retention frameworks.
- Design and deliver training frameworks and career evolution paths for various consulting levels.
- Manage post-acquisition people integration and optimize organizational design and operating models.
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in management or people consulting.
- 3–5 years of experience leading strategic people-related initiatives.
- Proven ability to influence senior leaders on organizational design and people strategy.
- Strong experience in talent attraction, succession planning, and leadership development.
- University degree (2:1 or above) in a relevant discipline.
- Ability to work from the New York office 2-3 days per week.
Nice to have
- Experience within a consulting firm focused on Financial Services or Asset and Wealth Management.
- Exposure to global or matrixed organizations with complex stakeholder environments.
- Professional certification such as CIPD 7, SHRM-SCP, or equivalent.
