Head of Human Resources, L&G - Asset Management, America (Asset Management)

Location: Chicago, United States; hybrid

Salary: $250,000–$275,000 per year, plus eligibility for an annual discretionary bonus plan

What you will do

• Lead the people strategy for L&G Asset Management America in partnership with the CEO, Executive Committee, and global HR leadership.
• Translate business objectives into workforce planning, talent acquisition, succession, leadership development, and organizational design strategies.
• Drive employee engagement, wellbeing, employee relations, culture, diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging initiatives.
• Oversee performance management, compensation, promotion cycles, reward governance, and US HR shared services.
• Lead change management and transformation initiatives during periods of growth or restructuring.
• Strengthen HR operations through technology, people analytics, risk management, regulatory compliance, and operational excellence.

Requirements

• At least 15 years of progressive HR experience, including senior or executive-level leadership in a complex organization.
• Demonstrated experience partnering with executive leadership on strategy, transformation, and organizational change.
• Experience in a global or matrixed organization, balancing local needs with global policies and governance.
• Bachelor’s degree required; an MBA or master’s degree in HR, business, or a related field is preferred.
• Strong commercial and financial acumen, including budget management and evaluation of returns on people investments.
• Professional HR certification such as SHRM-SCP, SHRM-CP, or equivalent is desirable; asset management experience is strongly preferred.
