What you will do

• Partner with the Lead Lawyer to manage high court and catastrophic injury claims including brain and spinal cord injuries.
• Handle a personal caseload of high-value complex injury claims from instruction to resolution.
• Engage directly with senior claims handlers at leading insurers to build trusted relationships.
• Apply analytical expertise to dissect complex medical and quantum evidence to shape expert strategy.
• Draft high-quality technical advice across indemnity, liability, quantum, and causation.
• Conduct witness interviews, prepare statements, and attend mediations and Joint Settlement Meetings.

Requirements

• Qualified solicitor with a solid grounding in indemnity, liability, and quantum.
• Proven track record managing complex injury or large loss claims.
• Strong written and verbal advocacy skills with excellent attention to detail.
• Ability to work in a hybrid capacity from the Belfast office.
• Client-focused mindset with confidence in handling senior client relationships.
• Proactive approach under pressure and commitment to continuous learning.
