TL;DR
Motor Technical Supervisor (Legal): Ensuring technically excellent work from Recoveries Litigation teams aligned with the Recoveries Quality Framework and client expectations with an accent on SCT litigated claims and continuous improvement of best practices. Focus on mentoring file handlers, identifying training needs, and driving workflow improvements to enhance service quality and KPI performance.
Location: Onsite in Bolton with hybrid working.

What you will do
- Handle a caseload of SCT litigated claims and continuously improve best practices.
- Supervise file handlers, maintain technical development records, and support their technical expertise.
- Identify training requirements, develop training programs, and manage performance improvement plans.
- Review workflows/processes, identify risks, and recommend strategies to improve service quality and KPI performance.
- Support the Technical Manager in guiding team leaders, delivering onboarding training, and resolving issues.
- Ensure compliance with SRA Standards and Regulations and achieve personal targets.
Requirements
- Qualified solicitor / CILEX with necessary practice rights.
- Up-to-date experience of Motor Recovery claims and litigation experience is essential.
- Previous experience of handling own caseload and a complete understanding of the claims process.
- Ability to plan, prioritize workloads, and remain calm under pressure.
- Excellent listening and verbal communication skills, with a strong desire to invest in and develop others.
- Good working knowledge of Excel and PowerPoint.
