What you will do
- Lead and manage a team of lawyers, overseeing service delivery, performance, and professional development.
- Handle a personal caseload of high-value property recovery files involving fires, floods, and product liability.
- Drive litigation processes, including investigations, drafting, and advocacy.
- Manage client accounts, prepare performance reports, and deliver technical training seminars.
- Support recruitment and retention efforts within the Property Risks & Coverage team.
- Ensure team compliance with quality service standards and financial budgets.
Requirements
- Qualified solicitor or equivalent with relevant technical capability.
- Minimum of 3 years Claimant property litigation experience.
- Proven experience in running a caseload and managing client KPIs.
- Strong people leadership skills with experience in team management.
- Ability to work from regional offices in Bolton, Birmingham, or Bristol.
Nice to have
- Experience at Partner, Senior Associate, or Legal Director level.
- Track record in client development and business growth.
- Experience in delivering technical legal training and workshops.
