TL;DR

Location: Must be based in or able to work from offices in Bolton, Birmingham, or Bristol (Hybrid)

What you will do

  • Lead and manage a team of lawyers, overseeing service delivery, performance, and professional development.
  • Handle a personal caseload of high-value property recovery files involving fires, floods, and product liability.
  • Drive litigation processes, including investigations, drafting, and advocacy.
  • Manage client accounts, prepare performance reports, and deliver technical training seminars.
  • Support recruitment and retention efforts within the Property Risks & Coverage team.
  • Ensure team compliance with quality service standards and financial budgets.

Requirements

  • Qualified solicitor or equivalent with relevant technical capability.
  • Minimum of 3 years Claimant property litigation experience.
  • Proven experience in running a caseload and managing client KPIs.
  • Strong people leadership skills with experience in team management.
  • Ability to work from regional offices in Bolton, Birmingham, or Bristol.

Nice to have

  • Experience at Partner, Senior Associate, or Legal Director level.
  • Track record in client development and business growth.
  • Experience in delivering technical legal training and workshops.
