What you will do

• Review and analyze prosecution evidence and prepare defense case statements.
• Attend police station interviews under caution and support clients through investigations.
• Draft witness statements and legal submissions for court proceedings.
• Liaise with courts, regulators, and expert witnesses to ensure effective case management.
• Attend trials and inquests alongside Counsel.
• Visit incident sites to gather evidence and conduct legal research.

Requirements

• Qualified Solicitor with motor crime or criminal law experience.
• Ideal for NQ–1 PQE with 6–12 months of criminal experience.
• Background in legal aid or criminal defense is highly desirable.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and client care skills.
• Willingness to travel to police stations and courts as required.
