EL/PL Claims Handler (Insurance)

What you will do

• Manage a caseload of Public Liability and Employers' Liability claims through to pre-litigation settlement.
• Handle claims with reserve values up to £30,000 and evaluate quantum up to £25,000.
• Maintain accurate information in the case management system and comply with client service-level agreements.
• Evaluate, negotiate, and settle liability claims while maintaining quality and productivity standards.
• Attend client review meetings, support client projects, and allocate new claims when required.
• Undertake supervisory and other team tasks appropriate to the role level.

Requirements

• At least two years of claims-handling experience.
• Experience evaluating, negotiating, and settling Public Liability and Employers' Liability claims.
• Experience handling quantum up to £25,000.
• Ability to maintain accurate case records and meet client service-level requirements.
• Flexible approach to work.

• Previous supervisory experience.
