Location: Hybrid (Bolton, UK) — attendance at the office at least 1 day a week is required

What you will do

  • Manage fraud cases from the point of litigation through to final resolution.
  • Conduct detailed review and analysis of evidence to establish case strategies in alignment with client guidelines.
  • Ensure strict compliance with court timetables, procedural deadlines, and SRA standards.
  • Perform advocacy when appropriate and delegate tasks to assistants to drive cases forward.
  • Maintain accurate and timely records within Case Management Systems and internal MI.
  • Meet financial targets, ensure profitability, and manage timely billing.

Requirements

  • Experience in civil litigation claims handling or as a legal File Handler.
  • Working knowledge of the Civil Procedure Rules (CPR) and the litigation process.
  • Understanding of insurance litigation practice and indemnity principles.
  • Strong analytical, verbal, and written communication skills.
  • Ability to prioritize workloads and meet deadlines under pressure.
  • Must be based within commuting distance of Bolton for weekly office attendance

Nice to have

  • Qualified Solicitor or CILEX with necessary practice rights.
  • Experience handling linked and organized fraud cases.
