Counter Fraud Services Hourly Rate File Handler (Legal): Managing a caseload of suspected fraudulent insurance claims from litigation to resolution with an accent on forensic analysis and strategic litigation. Focus on defeating dishonest motor claims, identifying emerging risks, and ensuring compliance with court timetables.
Location: Hybrid (Bolton, UK). Attendance at the Parklands Office is required at least 1 day a week.

What you will do
- Manage a caseload of suspected fraud files, including bogus passengers, staged accidents, and credit hire fraud.
- Conduct detailed review and analysis of evidence to set and execute case strategies.
- Identify strategic litigation opportunities and complex cases to protect client positions.
- Handle files in accordance with client guidelines and ensure maximum customer satisfaction.
- Maintain accurate Case Management Systems and adhere to SRA Standards & Regulations.
- Perform advocacy and ensure timely, accurate billing and financial target achievement.
Requirements
- Experience in civil litigation claims handling or as a legal File Handler.
- Suitably qualified with ILEX, LPC, or similar legal certifications.
- Knowledge of the litigation process and working knowledge of the CPR.
- Experience handling RTA pre-litigated and/or litigated caseloads.
- Strong analytical, listening, and written communication skills.
- Ability to prioritize work under pressure and meet strict procedural deadlines.
Nice to have
- Qualified solicitor or CILEX with necessary practice rights.
- Experience in handling linked and organized fraud.
