TL;DR

Casualty Fraud Litigated Claims Handler (Legal): Managing a caseload of suspected fraudulent employer and public liability cases with an accent on forensic evidence review and litigation strategy. Focus on handling Fast-Track and Multi-Track claims up to £100K while ensuring compliance with SRA standards and client SLAs.

Location: Must be based in or able to commute to the Bolton office (Hybrid)

What you will do

  • Manage a caseload of suspected fraudulent EL/PL cases on behalf of insurance clients.
  • Review and analyze evidence including witness statements, medical records, and inspection reports.
  • Develop and implement strategies for claim management and litigation.
  • Instruct experts, counsel, and investigators as required for case progression.
  • Draft legal documents, including pre-trial reports, counter schedules, and cost schedules.
  • Ensure full compliance with SRA Standards and Regulations throughout the claims lifecycle.

Requirements

  • Previous experience handling a caseload of EL/PL files.
  • Proven litigation experience within the insurance or legal sector.
  • Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail.
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet strict deadlines.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Must be able to work from the Bolton office on a hybrid basis.
