What you will do

• Install, configure, and maintain software and hardware in instructional and teaching laboratories.
• Coordinate repair and ongoing maintenance of laboratory computing hardware and peripherals.
• Liaise with faculty and teaching assistants to ensure lab configurations align with teaching plans and course requirements.
• Monitor laboratory technology needs and notify management when purchases or replacements are required.
• Validate and document configurations of PCs, network equipment, and other instructional devices.
• Resolve technical trouble tickets and work with vendors to support equipment lifecycle management.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 4 years of relevant technical experience in computer or laboratory support roles.
• Ability to lift up to 20 pounds and perform physical tasks such as standing, stooping, or climbing.
• Must meet all employment eligibility requirements in the U.S.
• Ability to install, configure, and troubleshoot a wide variety of computer hardware and software.

Nice to have

• Experience with Windows and Linux.
• Experience with hardware testing equipment (TDRs, function generators, oscilloscopes, multimeters, etc.).
