TL;DR

Engineer II, QA (Healthcare): Maintaining and improving software for the Hospital Quality Reporting program at CMS with an accent on automated testing, API validation, and CI/CD pipeline integration. Focus on ensuring system reliability, compliance, and performance for critical healthcare data reporting systems.

Location: Must be a US Citizen or Green Card holder and reside in the US for at least the past 3 years.

Salary: $108,700 - $125,300 a year

What you will do

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate quality considerations throughout the SDLC.
  • Develop comprehensive test plans, test cases, and documentation aligned with software specifications.
  • Document, prioritize, and track defects using bug-tracking tools.
  • Automate testing processes to increase coverage, speed, and accuracy within CI/CD pipelines.
  • Implement performance and security testing according to business requirements.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements for audit purposes.

Requirements

  • US Citizenship or Green Card required (no sponsorship).
  • US Residency for at least the past 3 years.
  • Ability to meet requirements for a position of Public Trust.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent with 3 years of development experience.
  • Experience with SQL, API testing (Postman), Cypress, and JavaScript.
  • Frontend development experience with frameworks like Angular.
  • Cloud experience (AWS) and Infrastructure as Code (Terraform).

Nice to have

  • AWS or Cypress certifications.
  • ETL skillset.
