What you will do

• Drive comprehensive safety programs using data-driven strategies to prevent injuries.
• Lead daily safety audits, incident investigations, and risk assessments.
• Deliver engaging safety training to associates to promote a proactive safety culture.
• Serve as a trusted safety advisor and advocate for associate wellbeing across all levels.
• Collaborate with leadership to drive behavioral changes and ensure safety best practices.
• Maintain emergency care delivery and assist in site emergency response.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in an EHS-related field or a Bachelor's degree in an EHS-relevant background.
• Knowledge of OSHA regulations, specifically 29 CFR 1910.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel in a professional capacity.
• Ability to meet physical demands, including lifting up to 49 lbs and standing/walking for up to 12 hours.
• Must be available to work flexible shifts, including days, nights, and weekends.

Nice to have

• Bachelor's degree or higher in a safety-related field.
• Current First Aid and CPR certifications.
• Experience in workers compensation case management.
• Experience leading and managing teams and analyzing accident data.
