What you will do

• Monitor construction operations to ensure compliance with OSHA, federal, state, and local safety regulations.
• Provide technical assistance to the project management team by developing and maintaining site-specific Project Safety Roadmaps.
• Support incident investigations and manage injury and illness cases, ensuring proper documentation and medical care coordination.
• Actively engage with field personnel and craft workers to foster an open, transparent safety culture.
• Deliver proactive safety coaching and lead hazard recognition assessments.

Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of hands-on construction safety experience.
• Specific safety experience within the electrical utility, substation, transmission, or commercial electrical sectors is highly preferred.
• OSHA 30-Hour Construction certification is required.
• Board of Certified Safety Professionals (BCSP) designation (e.g., CHST, ASP, CSP) is highly preferred.
• CPR/First Aid Certification is required (Trainer certification is a strong plus).
• Valid state-issued driver’s license with a satisfactory driving record (MVR check required).
