What you will do

• Lead and develop a high-performing Mechanical Engineering team, including direct reports and external partners.
• Own mechanical engineering for inter-chamber process chemistry delivery, automation, wafer tooling, and structural frames.
• Ensure designs meet performance, cost, quality, safety, and regulatory requirements.
• Deliver programs on schedule and within budget while managing risks and engineering changes.
• Partner with Process, Electrical, Software, Operations, and Supply Chain teams to ensure design specifications are met.
• Provide senior technical escalation support for released products.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering (8+ years exp) or Master's degree (6+ years exp).
• 5+ years of people management experience with direct reports.
• Experience leading or contributing to the design of sophisticated capital equipment.
• Working knowledge of electro-mechanical design architectures.
• Experience with FMEA, risk evaluation, and RCCA processes.
• Ability to travel up to 10%.

Nice to have

• Experience with semiconductor wet process equipment.
• Experience with materials and finish selection for aggressive operating environments and cleanrooms.
