What you will do

• Launch, lead, and manage local operations in China to ensure regional execution and global integration.
• Develop and manage a strategic supplier and purchasing footprint to secure critical factory capacity.
• Negotiate with top-tier OEMs, ODMs, and hardware manufacturers to drive BOM optimization.
• Conduct hands-on quality enforcement and deep audits of partner production lines.
• Assemble and lead an elite local team of experts to scale regional operations and infrastructure.
• Act as the primary real-time communication interface between Chinese manufacturing ecosystems and UK teams.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or higher in a STEM discipline from a top-tier university.
• Proven experience managing complex supply chains or strategic procurement within clean energy, automotive, or advanced electronics.
• Fluency in both English and Mandarin (written and verbal).
• Experience managing multiple Tier-1 suppliers and delivering under compressed timelines.
• Ability to operate and manage local functions within the Chinese market.
• A relentless, first-principles approach to solving ambiguous problems.
