What you will do
- Drive supplier localization, resourcing, and best-cost-country initiatives to improve local supply chain performance.
- Support the definition and implementation of global and local sourcing strategies for assigned spend categories.
- Lead RFQs, negotiate supplier contracts, and manage commercial terms, quality standards, prices, delivery times, and contract durations.
- Manage supplier relationships, including qualification, contracting, financial risk assessment, supplier visits, KPI monitoring, and corrective actions.
- Analyze category markets, cost structures, benchmarks, risks, opportunities, and business continuity requirements.
- Scout and qualify new suppliers while developing a sustainable supplier base and dual-source coverage.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent; an engineering degree is preferred.
- At least 5 years of experience in strategic sourcing within an international manufacturing company.
- Experience with localization, international negotiations, contract management, and claim management.
- Knowledge of categories such as machining, weldments, module assembly, and casting.
- Strong negotiation, communication, problem-solving, and stakeholder-management skills, with the ability to work independently and in international cross-functional teams.
- Proficiency in MS Office and Outlook, plus basic SAP knowledge or equivalent; English proficiency is required.

- Fluency in French or Italian.
- Knowledge of the relevant product and supplier markets.
