China Sourcing Lead (3D Printing)

What you will do

• Lead commodity managers, sourcing managers, and program managers to ensure competitive cost, high quality, reliable supply, and on-time product delivery.
• Develop sourcing and supply chain capabilities that support the hardware product roadmap.
• Own COGS analysis, reporting, cost reduction, and commercial excellence across hardware products.
• Negotiate with suppliers and cultivate relationships with primary and sub-tier suppliers.
• Mentor the sourcing team and collaborate with accounting, design engineering, and sustaining engineering.
• Develop sourcing alternatives, identify new suppliers globally, and ramp sourcing efforts as products and manufacturing locations change.

Requirements

• 7+ years of professional experience.
• Leadership experience hiring and developing talent.
• Experience with technical procurement and product development.
• Ability to build supplier relationships and resolve supplier problems.
• Experience optimizing and implementing processes to scale supply chain and sourcing activities efficiently.
• Comfort working with international partners across the globe.
