Manufacturing Planner (Aerospace)

What you will do

• Translate engineering drawings and intent into manufacturing bills of materials and detailed work instructions.
• Support manufacturing engineers in executing work orders, including nonconformance disposition and BOM reconciliation.
• Provide oversight for manufacturing plans to ensure data structure accuracy within MRP systems.
• Maintain and communicate key manufacturing engineering metrics and production schedules.
• Identify and implement process improvements to reduce build times while enhancing safety and quality.

Requirements

• Must be a U.S. citizen, national, or permanent resident (Green Card holder) due to export control regulations.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Working knowledge of manufacturing engineering processes, planning systems, and engineering fundamentals.
• Proficiency in mechanical design principles, including GD&T.
• Strong technical skills in CAD, issue tracking software, and Microsoft Office suite.
• Experience in aircraft, spacecraft, launch vehicle, or automotive manufacturing.

Nice to have

• Associate degree or trade school certification in a related discipline.
• Six Sigma Black Belt or Lean Manufacturing certification.
• Proficiency with Creo or CATIA V5 CAD software.
• Hands-on experience building flight hardware.
