What you will do

• Translate functional plans into operational objectives and execute strategic initiatives.
• Manage area budgets and ensure operational execution aligns with financial plans.
• Provide direct supervision to managers and individual contributors across multiple disciplines or departments.
• Drive the strategy and success of large-scale projects that impact multiple organizational areas.
• Interact with executive leadership on cross-functional and sensitive customer matters.
• Model company values and maintain accountability across the team.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent work experience.
• 8+ years of relevant experience, with a significant portion in a managerial or leadership role.
• U.S. Citizen, lawful permanent resident, or protected individual as defined by 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3).
• Current security clearance or the ability to obtain and hold a clearance.
• Proven track record of managing large teams and complex projects.
• Strong financial acumen and budget management skills.

Nice to have

• Advanced degree in a relevant field.
• Extensive experience in the production of Satellites and Spacecraft Components.
• Familiarity with Lean, Six-sigma, and/or Theory of Constraints Manufacturing Principles.
• Background in the Aerospace and Defense Industry, US Department of Defense, or US Military.
• Understanding of Assembly, Integration and Test (AI&T) practices.
