What you will do

• Lead and develop high-performing teams across Payroll Custom Reporting, Professional Services Fulfillment, and Technical Specialist functions.
• Drive operational excellence by identifying efficiency gaps and implementing scalable processes to improve client retention.
• Manage and de-escalate complex client situations, collaborating with Product, Engineering, and CX teams.
• Establish and track key performance indicators (KPIs) related to quality, timeliness, accuracy, and client satisfaction.
• Coach and mentor direct reports, including senior-level talent, through regular feedback and career planning.
• Drive AI adoption across teams by modeling effective AI usage and identifying workflow improvements.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in HR, HR consulting, professional services, or payroll operations.
• 2-4+ years of people leadership experience.
• Experience leading customer-facing operational or service delivery teams in fast-paced environments.
• Strong operational mindset with a proven track record of managing KPIs and driving accountability.
• Ability to manage escalations and navigate complex customer scenarios with professionalism.
• Proficiency with Google Workspace, CRM systems, and reporting tools.

Nice to have

• Experience within HR consulting, HRO, PEO, or HR technology environments.
• Experience supporting HR or payroll functions within a SaaS organization.
• Familiarity with hirify.global Payroll or payroll reporting structures.
• Experience implementing operational improvement frameworks like Lean or Six Sigma.
• Experience leveraging AI tools to improve team productivity or customer experience.
