People Operations Manager (AI)

Location: San Francisco, United States

Base salary: $90,000–$150,000 per year; stock options may be offered in addition.

A cloud-based AI solutions provider developing pre-trained models and software applications for content moderation, brand protection, sponsorship measurement, and context-based ad targeting. The company has more than 250 employees across San Francisco, Seattle, and Delhi and has raised over $120 million.

What you will do

• Manage the full employee lifecycle, including onboarding, offboarding, benefits, compensation, payroll, time off, and performance management.
• Serve as a key point of contact between executive leadership and employees.
• Maintain compliance with local, state, and federal employment laws and regulations.
• Oversee office operations, including inventory, catering, trips, and budgeting.
• Build systems and initiatives that support inclusion, diversity, employee relations, and engagement.
• Maintain HR data, security, compliance practices, and reporting of suspected policy or security violations.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree.
• 3–5 years of Human Resources or People Operations experience, preferably in a high-growth technology company or startup.
• Experience building, maintaining, and presenting HR data analytics.
• Strong emotional and social intelligence with experience fostering relationships across diverse groups.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple projects and changing priorities.
