What you will do

• Lead new hire onboarding to ensure a high-quality employee experience.
• Serve as the primary contact for employee inquiries regarding policies, benefits, and HR processes.
• Manage benefits administration, including enrollment, leave management, and vendor coordination.
• Maintain employee records in Rippling and process all employment lifecycle changes.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws (FMLA, ADA, FLSA, EEO).
• Coordinate performance review cycles and support managers with development planning and corrective action.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or equivalent experience.
• 2–4 years of experience in an HR Generalist or similar people-focused role.
• Solid working knowledge of employee relations, benefits, payroll, and employment law.
• Proficiency with HRIS platforms (preferably Rippling) and Google Workspace or Microsoft Office.
• High ownership mindset and ability to thrive in a fast-paced, ambiguous startup environment.
• Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.

Nice to have

• HR certification such as SHRM-CP, PHR, or equivalent.
• Experience supporting a multi-state or distributed workforce.
