What you will do

  • Manage daily services billing operations, including time & materials, fixed fee, and recurring billing models.
  • Lead and coach a small team of billing specialists, ensuring adherence to internal SLAs and billing timelines.
  • Partner with Project Managers and Operations to resolve discrepancies and align invoicing with project activity.
  • Perform mid-month and month-end billing cycles, including invoice review, adjustments, and issue resolution.
  • Support financial analysis by investigating variances between billing data and financial reporting.
  • Identify and implement process improvements to reduce manual effort within PSA/ERP systems like Changepoint and Intacct.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of billing experience, preferably within a professional services environment.
  • Prior experience leading or mentoring team members.
  • Strong understanding of services billing models (T&M, fixed fee, recurring).
  • Experience with PSA/ERP systems such as Changepoint, Intacct, or similar tools.
  • Must be based in the United States.
