What you will do

  • Prospect, pitch, and close new businesses to grow the merchant network in the assigned territory.
  • Conduct daily on-site visits and attend local events to nurture relationships with community and industry insiders.
  • Manage the full sales cycle from initial outreach and drop-ins to final negotiation and closing.
  • Consistently achieve or exceed monthly acquisition quotas and pipeline conversion targets.
  • Analyze the local market to identify untapped opportunities aligned with customer demand.
  • Track all sales activity and performance metrics within Salesforce.

Requirements

  • 3–5 years of outbound field sales experience.
  • Expertise in full-cycle sales methodology with an emphasis on conversion optimization.
  • Strong B2B negotiation, organizational, and time management skills.
  • Proven track record of exceeding quotas and OKRs in fast-paced environments.
  • Proficiency in Salesforce, SalesLoft, and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Must be based in or able to cover the Kansas City area with 70–80% travel.
