Salary: $50,000 base + commission

What you will do

  • Manage a book of business consisting of 300–400 accounts as the primary point of contact.
  • Identify, pitch, and close upsell and renewal opportunities for Martindale-Avvo products.
  • Proactively handle customer cancellation inquiries using consultative problem-solving to reduce churn.
  • Provide strategic, data-driven marketing recommendations to optimize client digital presence and advertising.
  • Analyze performance metrics and historical trends to identify growth opportunities for clients.
  • Maintain high activity levels and precise sales forecasts within Salesforce.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional work experience.
  • 2+ years of successful B2B sales experience in a solutions-oriented environment.
  • Strong consultative selling, negotiation, and closing skills, preferably with phone sales experience.
  • Proficiency with Salesforce, Google Workspace, and standard business tools.
  • Ability to work from the Seattle office to utilize local benefits and resources.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
