TL;DR

Strategic Account Manager (Life Sciences): Originating and converting high-value capital opportunities across strategic Life Sciences accounts with an accent on relationship management with A&E firms and institutional clients. Focus on influencing early-stage project specifications, building a multi-year pipeline, and leading complex deal execution from identification to close.

Location: Field-based in Philadelphia, Boston, Dover, Charlotte, Washington D.C., New York City, Hartford, or Richmond

Total Compensation: $210,000–$225,000

What you will do

  • Develop and execute account plans for Academic, Government, and Biopharma institutions.
  • Build strategic relationships with top A&E firms to influence specifications and design decisions at pre-design phases.
  • Act as the commercial lead for strategic opportunities from identification through closing.
  • Originate new business and build a multi-year pipeline aligned with capital investment cycles.
  • Coordinate cross-functionally with sales, service, marketing, operations, and finance to deliver integrated solutions.
  • Convert market insights and capital planning cycles into strategic account growth opportunities.

Requirements

  • 7–10 years of experience in strategic sales, capital equipment, or account management in Life Sciences or Healthcare.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience.
  • Proven experience selling complex capital equipment (sterilizer/autoclave experience preferred).
  • Must be able to travel extensively (approx. 50%) throughout the US.
  • Valid driver's license and ability to operate an automobile.
  • Proficiency in Salesforce (GForce).

Nice to have

  • Existing relationships within Academic, Biopharma, or Governmental Life Science institutions.
