What you will do

• Resolve claims related to Transportation/Logistics, Motor Truck Cargo, and other Inland Marine lines.
• Confirm coverage by reviewing policies and drafting formal coverage position letters independently.
• Conduct and coordinate investigations into loss facts and the extent of damages.
• Determine insured exposure, set reserves, and negotiate settlements directly with claimants.
• Identify subrogation opportunities and potential fraud for appropriate referral.
• Ensure timely service by meeting all service level agreements and responding to inquiries.

Requirements

• US Work Authorization required (no visa sponsorship available now or in the future).
• Claims handling experience is required; two or more years of commercial claims experience is preferred.
• Must have or be eligible to receive a claims adjuster license.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional work experience.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office products (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Word).

Nice to have

• Advanced or focused technical degree.
• Industry designations such as INS, IEA, AIC, ARM, SCLA, or CPCU.
