What you will do

  • Adjust complex construction defect and liability claims for assigned programs.
  • Research applicable coverage, document limits, and draft reservation of rights or coverage denials.
  • Investigate losses by securing statements, contracts, cost estimates, and expert reports.
  • Assign and monitor defense counsel, independent adjusters, and experts for lawsuits.
  • Evaluate and recommend reserves for each handled file.
  • Collaborate with underwriters, agents, and service teams to maintain productive relationships.

Requirements

  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
  • Must hold an individual adjusting license for a designated home State.
  • College degree or equivalent claims management experience.
  • Preferred 3+ years of construction defect claims management experience.
  • Preferred 5+ years of litigation management experience.
  • Proficient computer skills including Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel.
