What you will do

• Adjudicate and resolve moderate to complex commercial general liability claims, including all phases of litigation.
• Draft coverage letters, including reservation of rights and denial letters, with minimal supervision.
• Analyze claim documentation and legal filings to set accurate reserves and identify emerging exposure trends.
• Drive litigation best practices to manage the deployment and utilization of defense counsel.
• Identify suspected fraudulent claims and track them with the special investigations unit.
• Participate in internal claims projects to provide operational support to the team.

Requirements

• 3-5 years of claims handling experience in commercial general liability with an insurance carrier.
• Advanced knowledge of claims analysis, adjusting practices, and standards for legal filings.
• Proven ability to effectively negotiate settlements of moderate to complex claims.
• Experience in mentoring and training other claims examiners.
• Active insurance adjuster’s license.
• Must be based in one of the specified US office locations for hybrid work.
