Salary: $110,000 – $161,500

What you will do

• Oversee the preparation and review of SEC filings (Forms 10-K, 10-Q, 8-K) and investor communications in accordance with U.S. GAAP and SEC regulations.
• Own GAAP and SEC disclosure checklists and tie-out binders in compliance with SOX controls.
• Manage internal financial reporting packages, performing financial and trend analyses and drafting board reporting.
• Lead month-end close for technical accounting areas, including the capitalization of internally developed software.
• Write technical accounting memorandums and provide guidance on U.S. GAAP matters, including new standards and impairment analyses.
• Manage, coach, and develop a team of four accounting professionals to foster a culture of accountability and learning.

Requirements

• 10+ years of relevant financial reporting experience; Big 4 public accounting experience strongly preferred.
• CPA or similar professional designation required.
• 4+ years of people management experience.
• Deep knowledge of U.S. GAAP, SEC rules, and SOX 404.
• Must be based in the US.
• Proficiency with Workiva required.

Nice to have

• Experience with NetSuite and SOX compliance.
• Hands-on experience using AI tools in a professional finance context.
